The primary design drivers for our Narrow Lot typology are a reduced allowable building footprint, limited street frontage, and the organization of the building around circulation, which together create opportunities for programming, efficiency, and the use of overlapping areas for setbacks, utility connections, egress, zoning requirements, and site circulation. Our Narrow Lot designs rely on essential elements such as building access, required easements, and vertical circulation to guide the schematic organization of plans and unit layouts, allowing each project to optimize shared efficiencies of the typology while responding to local and site-specific conditions.
